Tunisia has secured €145 million in loans from the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the African Development Bank (AfDB) to fund a major bridge construction project in Bizerte. This critical infrastructure project aims to improve traffic flow and enhance regional economic activity.

- Project Phases: The construction will be completed in three phases:
- Phase 1: Building a 4.5 km southbound link through a motorway.
- Phase 2: Construction of the main bridge.
- Phase 3: Building a northbound link and a 2.5 km motorway.
This project represents a significant investment in Tunisia’s infrastructure and is expected to have a positive impact on the country’s economic development.
