Tunis, today, April 15 [2024] – At least 19 people were killed and 369 others injured in various road accidents over the past 24 hours, according to the spokesperson for the civil protection.

This is a significant number of casualties, and highlights the importance of road safety. The causes of these accidents are not yet known, but they are a stark reminder of the dangers of speeding, reckless driving, and not following traffic laws.

The spokesperson for the civil protection also said that Units under the National Civil Protection Office carried out 399 interventions during the same day, including 150 rescue operations during road accidents and 20 fire extinguishing operations.
